Angela founded Copperwing with brand management as its cornerstone, recognizing its critical role in creating breakthrough communications with long-term relevance. She leads with the same out-front thinking as she sets the vision for the company. Angela keeps our team focused on core design principles that help meet client business goals. She leads our collaborative Brandstorming work sessions that create the foundational systems to build relevant and lasting brands. She has led branding initiatives for clients with regional, national, and international reach. Her work has been recognized with numerous industry awards. Angela is a graduate of Auburn University and serves on the Executive Board for Auburn University’s College of Architecture, Design and Construction. She promotes design education, advocates for vulnerable children, and loves time with her family and friends.

Chris brings more than three decades’ experience as a director, editor, visual effects artist, and colorist to our film, motion and editing work. An expert with creative direction, idea generation and problem solving, Chris lends his skills to all stages of a project, from concepts and storyboarding to final finishing and delivery. A cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama in multimedia production, he also offers clients expertise beyond the visual, evidenced by his degree in music (also with cum laude honors) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While you’d expect he enjoys movies and music, you might be surprised to know he’s a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido and accomplished in target shooting.

Kristi is an experienced video producer skilled in graphics, advertising, customer relationship management (CRM), editing, and creative writing. She is just a skillful when managing the business side of projects by ensuring work is on time and within budget. Kristi is a proud graduate of Troy University. She once crossed the Royal Gorge on one of North America’s highest zip lines, but her proudest adventure was hiking 26.3 miles in one day as part of the Make-A-Wish Alabama inaugural Trailblazer Challenge.

Spencer helps lead our design team. He possesses a talent for creative storytelling in every medium. His has extensive experience in motion, digital animation, and website design and how to integrate them into smart campaigns. With a strong proficiency and technical expertise, he has helped Copperwing develop engaging digital experiences for major corporations with worldwide audiences. An award-winning designer, Spencer is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He and his wife love spending time camping with family and raising their three children.

Carla skillfully manages day-to-day operations and maintains a productive and happy work environment. She leads initiatives that increase our efficiency and make Copperwing a thriving resource for our client partners. She holds an MBA from Auburn University at Montgomery and a master’s in human resource management from Troy University Montgomery. Carla has taught courses at Faulkner University and Samford University, including human resources and organizational behavior courses. She enjoys time with family and loves photography, travel, and writing.
